Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Surgical Director, the Central Sterile Processing Manager provides professional direction to the Central Service Department in accordance with established policies and procedures of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in collaboration with Surgical Services, Nursing, Infection Control and other members of the hospital health care team. The CSS Manager provides supervision according to AORN, AAMI and other health care agency standards. May be required to work different shifts depending on the needs of the hospital and the department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification in sterilization/processing as a CRTST through IAHCSMM or CBSPD or must be a Certified Surgical Technologist required
• Education: High School or Equivalent required
• Experience: 2 years recent experience in Central Processing. Prior supervisor experience in Central Sterile Supply experience strongly preferred
